Launch of 9 Free Educational Games

The Gérard Foundation officially launches its platform of 9 free educational games, available in 5 languages. Designed for young people aged 12 to 25, these games tackle today's most pressing issues — from disinformation and climate change to civic rights and mental well-being.

Education at the heart of our mission

For the Gérard Foundation, education is not a privilege — it is a fundamental right. Our educational games were designed with one goal in mind: to make critical thinking, civic engagement, and ecological awareness accessible to every young person, regardless of their background or resources.

Nine games, nine essential issues

Each game tackles a distinct contemporary challenge. Vrai ou Fake trains players to detect misinformation. Carbone Runner makes carbon footprints tangible through daily choices. Ocean SOS places players in charge of a bay ecosystem. IA & Moi explores algorithmic ethics. Data Detective teaches digital privacy. Citoyenne guides players through civic and ethical dilemmas. Art Explorer discovers masterpieces through Louvre open data. Mind Balance addresses mental well-being. Un Jour immerses players in the reality of economic hardship.

Five languages, global ambition

All nine games are available in French, English, Spanish, Arabic, and Portuguese. This multilingual approach reflects our commitment to reaching young people across every continent — particularly in regions where access to quality educational content remains limited.

Free, forever

All games are completely free and require no account or download. They are playable directly in a web browser on any device. Teachers, educators, and youth organisations are encouraged to integrate them into their programs. A dedicated guide for educators is available upon request.

We believe that play is one of the most powerful forms of learning. These games are our way of giving every young person tools to understand and act upon the world.
